Our Little Hero,

Well as some of you may know, we had to check into Hotel PC on Friday. Carson had a fever on Friday and so we headed up to the ER. They ran some blood test's to determine what was causing the fever. It was determined in the blood culture that there was some bad bacteria present. So he was to be put on antibiotics immediately and monitored very closely for the next 72 hrs. We were released on Mon and we are able continue the IV antibiotics at home. Any little fever, will keep us at the hospital for at least 48 hrs. They take everything very serious and thus resulting in the best possible care and outcome of my little boy. We are really starting to get to know the hospital, the staff, & cafeteria very well. ugh...

We are also very excited to report that we did find out on Monday while at the hospital the results from that last Bone Marrow Aspiration. And.......... Carson is officially CANCER FREE!! They found zero cancer cells or in medical terms >>No minimal residual disease was found!!. So the chemo, the steroids, and of coarse our very brave and strong Carson are all doing what they are supposed to be. Sooooo Our Little Hero... Carson can now move onto the next phase of treatment (consolidation) and continue forward with this fight that we WILL win!
Love you all... thanks,
