Another Treatment Delay & Birthdays!

Carson had a great weekend, he celebrated his 3rd Birthday! His older sister Hannah also celebrated her birthday, Hannah Banana is nine! We celebrated both birthdays at the Zoo with our family. Carson was so happy to be out and more important to be at the Zoo, one of his favorite places! He got spoiled with lots of fun toys, cupcakes, and other goodies. He also got to run all around with his favorite cousins. Unfortunately later that night on his sister's birthday things changed a bit...Carson came down with a fever & a cough. Hyrum gave me the night off, and ran Carson up to the ER. I did my best to continue to celebrate Hannah's b-day and took her to toys r us to pick out something fun. Later on Sydney, Hannah and I decided we wanted to be with Carson & hyrum so we joined them in the ER. When we got there we learned that Carson tested positive for RSV!! UGH! The only good news was his ANC was 6000! Which was up from 5oo(neutropenic) five days before, So luckily no hospital stay and we were able to bring Carson home for some good rest and recovery.

Carson was scheduled to start Maintenance on Tuesday March 16th. But his counts were very low in fact his ANC was ZERO. We took a week off and tried again on the 23rd of March and still did not make counts ANC=500. Then we tried again for Tuesday March 30th but now with RSV we will again take another week off. SO... now we will shoot for April 6th to start Maintenance!!
BTW- (ANC-750 is the magic number for Treatment)
