Update on Carson and some new pics.

Carson has been feeling great. Maintenance has been fairly easy so far, once a month to clinic, chemo pills from home, a happy content little boy with a full head of hair, beautiful dark eyelashes, and life really feel's easy and some what normal again. Then it all changed this last week and really quick we are reminded of how sensitive and vulnerable our little guy is. Carson recently has been in the hospital with two separate fevers. First time around it was a fever with no symptoms which = 2 night stay. The second time (4 days later) he had a fever with cold symptoms = 2 night stay unfortunately both times Carson was Neutropenic! UGh! His ANC was ZERO. We thought he would never get that low again. Carson seems to be a little too sensitive to the chemo pills he is on and they are going to back off for a little while. He is currently on a strong antibiotic and hopefully we can get his counts back up very soon!! We will cross our fingers he does not go that low again.
These current pics are from a recent trip our family took to St George/Zions National Park. The kids had a blast, swimming, hiking, tennis, sight seeing, & more swimming!!
