Hyrum and I were so lucky this last weekend to get a chance to visit with his Grandma(Nana) and Great Grandma to the kids in Longview Texas. It was quite the process to get there BUT WELL WORTH IT! We Love Nana!
Thursday night I drove the girls to meet Aunt Heidi in Snowville (1hr and 1/2 away 3 hrs round trip) Then we left Carson with our next door neighbor over night and then with Jess, Chett and the boys for two nights and then Maggie went with Jamie. We flew all day on Friday and finally made our way to Longview at 5PM. We spent the whole weekend with Nana listening to stories, some funny, some very sad and everything in between. It was a trip we will never forget, we don't know how much longer we have with her so it was very special. I took pics of her house and her dog, the kids have never been to her house.

what a neat visit! that's so cool you guys were able to go. and i'm sure the trip was much more pleasant sans kids. ;)
