Here is the latest update on Carson. He is currently in between treatment phases and is on his second week of not making counts. His ANC hit zero again. : ( So his little body is saying STOP with all this medicine and give me a break, and that is exactly what the Oncologist does. He will not get more chemo until his counts go back up and his body works properly again. The next treatment phase is called Interim Maintanence and will last eight weeks, we have been told it is more mild then the last phase he was in and less mild then the one that will follow (Delayed Intensification)<< this one is nasty!!
Well even though Carson's Neutrophils are low and he is constantly stuck home, he has over all been feeling pretty good! In the photo above Carson is all bundled up and ready to go for a much needed walk around the neighborhood.
Next.... I have some Info on a Blood Drive that Jessica and I are doing. It will be held on November 21st between 1-4 at the Sandy ARUP location which is off I-15 at 9786 Sandy Parkway (500 West). If you miss us on the 21st we will continue to donate blood every 3 months or 4 times a year from now on. So anyone wanting to join us is much appreciated! This is so important to Hyrum and I because without blood and platelet transfusion's Carson and other Leukemia patients (my cousin Steve) would not survive. It only takes about 0ne hour and you will save the lives of up to three people! Thank you!
